Alexiyah Sukhai
Co-President
Alexiyah (she/her) is in her third year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Human Biology and Molecular Biology, Immunology, and Disease. Something that she is passionate about doing in the Students for Shelters club is spreading awareness to others and showing compassion and empathy to those who need it in the GTA area.
Janis Wong
Co-President
Janis (she/her) is in her second year as an undergraduate student in the Mental Health Studies specialist program She is beyond excited to be one of the first co-presidents of the Students for Shelters UTSC chapter. With a passion of for social justice, equal access to resources, especially healthcare and social-emotional well-being, she hopes to work directly with marginalized communities in Toronto to improve their daily lifestyles and remove the social stigma they are associated with.
Christina Angeline
Co-Vice President
Christina (she/her) is in her second year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Mathematics and Health Studies. She loves helping others, and hopes through Students for Shelters that the group together can be a foundation to make a difference in the community. She recognizes that our contribution does not always have to be in physical form, your time, energy, and ideas are worthy too.
Siddhi Surana Mahaveer

Siddhi (she/her) is in her second-year student as an undergraduate student in the CO-OP Management program. She is grateful to be a part of Students for Shelters. She looks forward to expanding and contributing to this community and helping people as much as she can!
Sumaiya Mubarak
Finance Officer
Sumaiya (she/her) is in her third year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Human Biology and Neuroscience. She is extremely passionate about Science and Financial education. She aims to create a positive impact on students' and others' lives through S4S.
Filza Khan
Public Affairs Secretary
Filza (she/her) is in her fourth year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Population Health Studies and Psychology. She is an advocate for social justice and wants to leave an impact in the community by improving the livelihood of vulnerable populations and by creating a supportable environment.
Bhavana Akilan
Public Affairs Secretary
Bhavana (she/her) is in her second year as an undergraduate student in the Life Sciences program. She firmly believes in the saying, "A helping hand is better than praying lips," which inspired her to join the S4S team. Through this role, Bhavana hopes to meet the needs of the local community by bridging them with the organization's work. She aspires to do her part in giving back and contributing to the welfare of those in need.
Hana Abbasian
Note-Taking Secretary
Hana (she/her) is in her second year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Neuroscience and Human Biology. She believes in the complete equality of humans, and her main goal is to clear stigma and increase empathy and understanding towards people struggling with homelessness and addiction. She is extremely interested in reading and writing about all people problems and needs. By being part of Students for Shelters, she hopes to raise marginalized and homeless people's voices.
Eva Tsai
Marketing Director
Eva (she/her) is in her second year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Political Science and New Media Studies. She enjoys travelling, photography, and exploring The Criterion Collection. She hopes to continue her passion in community service and broaden her perspective into the ways she can contribute aid to people facing challenges and social injustices.
Ashwarya Ramkissoon

Ashwarya (she/her) is in her third year as undergraduate student double majoring in Sociology and Media Studies. She has a strong passion for content creation and digital marketing which she hopes to illustrate through the posts she would create for Students for Shelters. She looks forward to working with everyone and developing our club to it’s strongest potential!

Eidl (she/her) is in her second year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Human Biology and Mental Health Studies. By being part of Students for Shelters, she hopes to create content that can spread awareness about certain topics in the world and our community and to inspire people to join the team or help the community in many ways.
Maham Faisal

Maham (she/her) is in her second year as an undergraduate student double majoring in Human Biology and Psychology. She hopes to make a lasting impact and change by being part of Students for Shelters with the passion of providing more awareness about issues that affect the local community. With this passion, she would like to learn more about the numerous problems that are faced by many individuals and partake in events to bring change and attention to them.
